The Edco Handwriting package contains:

Designed around two pathways, Edco Handwriting facilitates both pre-cursive and cursive handwriting from Junior Infants. It is also designed to allow for a successful transition from pre-cursive to cursive at both Books C and D.
The pre-cursive pathway:
● features letters with tails
● introduces all lower-case letters in Book A
● introduces all upper-case letters in Book B
● includes practice of handwriting in a range of formats, as per the PLC, particularly in Book C and Book D
The cursive pathway:
● features letters with tails
● introduces all lower-case letters in Book A
● introduces all lower-case cursive letters in Book A
● introduces all upper-case letters in Book B
● gradually introduces joins from Book B
● allows pupils to transition to the cursive pathway at Book C or Book D
● includes practice of handwriting in a range of formats, as per the PLC, particularly from Book C
● introduces the imaginary line in Book E
● progresses to blue lines only towards the end of Book F
